Now for the good stuff: I purchased this car 8 years ago from a dealer in California that dealt exclusively in vintage Corvettes.  I had been looking for over 10 years to find a very nice “driver” quality car. This car had been in a warehouse in Kansas City for several years prior to me buying it.  The car has a 350 engine (non original and automatic transmission, also not original [it was originally a 4 speed]). It has a very nice, very clean interior, speedometer and tach both work very well, although the speedometer has always been a little jumpy for the first mile or so driving, but settles down quickly and reads correctly. The engine runs perfect, smooth and strong and has been maintenance free, it burns absolutely no oil.  The transmission shifts smoothly and is very tight.  Headlights go up and down fine and smoothly. Tail lights, turn signals and parking lights all work perfectly. The Convertible top is beautiful and appeared to be brand new when I bought the car. No scars, tears or wrinkles, the rear window is crystal clear.

The first week I had the car I had the rear spindles removed and replaced with all new bearings installed and the rear end aligned, along with an original 69 power steering unit added (power steering was an option back then). In addition, I had new MSD electronic ignition added to the car, which drastically enhanced the car’s ability to burn fuel more efficiently.  New brakes were installed then as well and all work was performed by Wright's Service Center. (If you don’t know of them, They are Master Mechanics and Sandy was a vintage car magician.)
This is a very nice car, I truly love this car. It is garage kept and has never been wet. (I have never driven it in the rain or a even wet road for that matter). It is my 44 year old baby. The problem is, I have a 46 year old baby as well (1967 Pontiac Grand Prix Convertible) and I want to spend a little more time on her.

EXTRAS!:
In addition to the car there are few items I have collected that will go along with her:
  • All the original parts, ignition, distributor, etc. that were removed to install MSD electronic ign.
  • 1 set of Corvette embossed Valve covers.
  • 1 Custom Embroidered Leather C-3 Jacket
  • Table top books- The Corvette Black Book, The Ultimate Encyclopedia of the Corvette, Crestline “50 years of the Corvette", The Pocket Book of the Corvette, Corvette America Vintage Parts Catalog, The Chilton’s Manual for Corvettes 68-80, and many many Corvette Fever Magazines.
  • 1 Corvette Wall Clock, and even a couple of 69 RED Vette Hotwheels (still packaged)
  • And probably a few more things my wife will find that she would love to send home with you as well.
